Oh wow. Owned. Your life sucks, but you deserved it. I'm gonna write that one down in case I need it...
I clicked both for the same reason as #23 Btw. # is dumb. She can't even get the poster right
**** your life for getting a tattoo of someones name on you. & **** his life for paying for a tattoo for someone he was going to dump. You're both dumb.

Obviously the guy was an asshole. Good riddance. It sucks to have the tattoo - now you know how permanent they are. Don't get mad; get even. Given his intentions talking to a lawyer and have him (the ex, not the lawyer) pay for removal would not be a bad idea. I don't think it'll fly but it's worth checking out.
Wow. My wife and I have been married over 11 years. After our 10th anniversary, I decided to get a tattoo to commemorate our time together. After all, 10 years is a big part of your life. We're still going strong, but IF we broke up, the tattoo would be a reminder of the good times we had for over 10 years. But even then I didn't get her name, I got her favorite animal...never EVER tattoo a name on you unless it's your own or your child's.
That guy is a jerk or isn't able to think consequences from another persons point of view, that's for sure, but it's ******* common sense that you don't get a name of your signifant one tattooed on your skin! Especially after only 2 years, what was the tattooist thinking?! Don't get me wrong, I love tattoos and have thought about the career of a tattooist myself, but I would never do a name tattoo - unless it's of the client's children, parents, someone close but decayed and for couples only if they've been together for 10 years or more, depending on age, even 10 years sounds too short. IMHO conscientious tattooist doesn't do name or face tattoos - only with VERY very very few exceptions depending on the person (also not offensive tattoos e.g. swastika's nazi version - no exceptions there). There's a limit to "customer is always right". Voted YDI. #323; Well said haha. #318; You're a douche.

Oh man! You shouldn't have agreed to it in the first place! But what a asshole!
People need to learn not to tattoo their boyfriend/girlfriend's names on them.
