I had been raving about him for weeks, and everyone was curious to meet this "amazing guy" I'd been dating. He showed up in a Darth Vader costume because he thought it would be funny to embarrass me. If he would of spent the weekend having walks on the beach, then a picnic in the sand with wine, strawberries, and cream. Then a candlelight dinner on the boardwalk. He probably would of hated every minute of it. Why does romantic have to mean (generalizing) "only something a woman would concider romantic". To him romantic is spending the day with the person he loves, embelishing over things that he holds dear to his heart and to his childhood. There is nothing wrong with that and probably more intimate than the previous.
