I'm with 21 and 23. It's not worth it if one person in the relationship pays for everything, whether it's the male or the female. Get rid of him. He's a jackass.

You know, it can be embarrassing and uncomfortable to admit that you can't afford to do things like come and visit a loved one, and pride can be really bruised. Aside from his potential discomfort in allowing you to spend all that money on him, maybe he just has to think about how he'll pay for rent or fuel or food if he takes the time off to visit you. Also, I'm appalled by all the money-grabbing assholes on this site who think someone's financial status should be reason enough to dump them, or worse, date them. As long as there's no intentional freeloading going on, a person is much more important than how much money they have to spend on you.

I'd probably behave like that too, but the reason would actually be because I wouldn't want to take advantage of my girlfriend..
