Today, my boyfriend told my roommate about a trick he had used by filling nail holes with toothpaste when he moved out. When I came home with putty to fill the holes, there were blue spots all over the walls. She had filled them with blue gel toothpaste. Now I get to repaint, too. FML

Today, I came home to find that my girlfriend had repainted my bedroom. As she had offered to do it, it shouldn't have been a problem. However, she decided to return the several unopened cans of off-white paint that I'd bought for something "more neutral." Like "Sunset Orange." FML

Today, I finished painting my living room. I had to leave the house in a rush. When I got home, I found smears of paint all around and the carpet crusted with paint that had dried. My cat had rubbed up against the walls and tracked it around. FML

Today, my boyfriend bought my favorite doughnuts for our anniversary. After settling down and pouring a glass of wine, I grabbed a doughnut and quickly realized the filling inside wasn't jelly. He thought it would be funny to replace it with toothpaste. FML

If they were moving out she wouldn't necessarily had to repaint. Most places don't make you. it's the landlords job to repaint (or have the place repainted) most of the time.

nah dude I used to do this when I lived in the dorms at college you're supposed to use the white toothpaste so it's no colored but if it is colored you just use whiteout over it.

Today, I told my girlfriend's roommate that she could fix holes in the wall by using toothpaste. I meant for her to use the normal white kind. When I went over to visit my girlfriend, I noticed that her roommate had used some sort of blue gel toothpaste. FML

Omg people are so stupid. I just parted ways with an asinine flatmate, so I feel your pain. Whoever's had a flatmate that undoes everything you do will understand...
