Wow, you ungrateful cuntwaffle. He wanted to surprise you by taking you out to some surprise location, and you bitch when it turns out to be a fast food place? He was being romantic, goddamnit! You're lucky to have a man who does stuff like this. What is wrong with you?
Sweetheart, I have a test for all the momen I date. I never take a gal on a date that is going to cost me more than $15 untill we have been together for at least a month. If she bitches about it, she is gone. Im not cheap, I just don't need or want a materialistic, whiney, woman with no sence of humor. You wouldn't make the cut.
I don't think its embarrassing so much as stupid. You go to all this trouble to get dressed up, then ... oh, McDonalds... ok... Thanks for the excessive calories and fat honey, thats so romantic.
Did he get you a happy meal? That always makes my girlfriend feel better.
learn how to take a joke
ok... let me get this straight. this guy, takes you out on a surprise date... and it's not a fancy romantic restaurant with candle-lit, french atmosphere (which he never claimed it was)... therefore he's a douchebag? i'm sorry, i didn't know dressing up was an "occasion only" ritual, and is forbidden in all other circumstances under penalty of PMS.
This is definitely not a FML. This would be a great MLIA post however. So quit complaining and look at the glass being half-full and not half empty. Be glad your dating someone with a sense of humor.
This isn't an FML. It's not like he told you to dress up and then he showed up in casual clothes. He thought it would be cute to get dressed up only to go to McDonalds. I would enjoy that. You get your food faster and it isn't that expensive. I don't like going to fancy restaurants often anyways. Besides, just act as if you were coming from a wedding or a party if you're that embarrassed about it.
