Today, my boyfriend took me to get the abortion that we both agreed on. He was being so supportive through the whole thing. When it was all over I thanked him for coming. He replied, "Well that's what got us here in the first place!" He's still mad he can't tell anyone his joke. FML

I expected a lot of "HOW DARE YOU GET AN ABORTION" comments but I'm really glad that nobody has done that. I understand how difficult that situation is and I respect you for being able to make it, because I'm not sure I could be able to. In hindsight your boyfriend was probably trying to lighten the mood a bit, but I hope he continues to support you and be there for you.

I don't think disagreeing with abortion makes you a terrible person. I also don't think standing up for that belief makes you a terrible person. Everyone has a right their opinion.
