Today, my boyfriend tried to cure me of my snake phobia by buying one. When he took it out of the cage, it bit him. Now he's terrified of them too. Even worse, he dropped the snake, so it's now loose in our house. FML

snakes love dark, warm, places. when my snakes escaped they would hide in boxes/cartons. also, if you find it approach it slowly and use your dominant hand to go for the area right behind the head when you pick it up, that way he can't reach around and bite you.

I think the snake has a phobia of humans now, FIL (F*** its life)

I'd be sleeping elsewhere unless you want to share a bed with that nasty creature.

Why the **** did the pet shop employee allow this IDIOT to purchase a snake? that's so ******* irritating!!!!!!!

For some reason this reminded me of the time an anteater, wandered into our house when I was a kid. My mom saw it and freaked out, it had huge claws I remember. It belonged to a guy who owned exotic animals on his property. Most random animal to show up in a house in Ohio.
