Maybe he's just not comfortable with you seeing him properly naked. At least when you're in bed you can cover yourself up. But there's no hiding when you're in the shower. Either that or he just doesn't want to see you naked.

Maybe he doesn't want to go in the shower with you cause in the light your naked body is disgusting. And while he is banging you, he can close his eyes and pretend your someone else.
