Today, I learned that instead of training my cat, she has been training me. She now refuses to drink anything but running tap water, and yowls loudly early in the morning at my bedroom door to be fed. FML

Today, despite having the choice of several bowls of clean water in the house, as well as puddles and ponds outside, my cat was drinking out of a pot I was soaking in the sink. She doesn’t seem to mind the taste of dish soap. FML

Today, my cat was in the bathroom with me because he loves toilets. Everyone was sleeping so I went pee but didnt flush. My cat jumped onto the seat and fell in. I had to lift him out and then wash him. He hates water though, so I was scratched by my cat who was dripping with my own pee. FML

Today, I learned why my bathroom has a horrible, seemingly irremovable stench. My cat doesn't squat to pee like a normal cat. She stands up, peeing over the side of the litter tray all over the wall and floor, which are now a permanent yellow tinge. FML

Today, my cat decided the perfect place to throw up was on herself. Cleaning a smelly old cat with a showerhead is trouble enough, but when she tried to escape, it resulted in the bathroom being turned into one big puddle. FML

Today, I had to use the bathroom when I woke up this morning. My cat was sitting in front of the toilet and absolutely refused to move. I seriously tried every humane way of getting her to move, but she didn't budge. I had to sit really awkwardly on the toilet to do my business. When I stood up, she moved. FML

Crazy Product Idea #251: Cat water bowl that is shaped like a toilet. Cats like to drink from water that's moving. There's bowls that cycle the water, maybe try that?

Get a pet water fountain. We got one for our 3 cats and it's their favorite water source. Plus it's cute watching them sit and stare at the water as to moves around. :)

When was the last time you cleaned it's water bowl? People often forget to clean them. it should be done at least once a week and fresh water every three days or more if you have more than one cat. Don't just top off the water. . Could be a sign of contamination of the water bowl (over spray of a household product or loose hairs floating on the surface) or a health problem.

My cat has also started to drink from the toilet recently.. It's like having a grumpy dog that mauls you if you scratch his stomach for more than 2 seconds at a time...
