Today, my dad asked me to stop calling him "dad" because it’s too weird for his girlfriend’s kids to hear, because they call him dad. FML

Father is a name that has to be earned, in my opinion. He obviously has not earned it. Call him by his first name, or ever better- don't talk to him at all!
