Today, my dad asked to borrow some money off me, so I said okay. Later on, he told me he'll be using it to help divorce my mom. I pretty much just helped pay for my parents' divorce. FML

I think that even if OP had asked what the money was going to that the dad wouldn't have given him a straight answer... Since asking your kid for divorce money is kind of a slimy thing to do.

Im sorry about your parents divorce. I didn't get to grow up with my dad. I just met him when I was 11 and I'm 13 now and I hardly get to see him. So be thankful you got to grow up with them. If your old enough to borrow money from it shouldn't effect you much. Many children go through this and it effects them the most.
