Today, my dad borrowed my new iPad to amuse him while he was in the shower without my knowledge. The iPad is now completely ruined, and my dad is refusing to buy me a new one. He says, "How was I to know that it wasn't waterproof?" FML

as a last ditch , you could try drying it in the oven an a VERY low setting ... it worked with my old cell phone .... At at this point , what could it hurt ? As a side note , KILL your dad ...

I wouldn't doubt you shop at walmart and drink at starbucks on a daily basis. I CHOOSE not to buy from these places and purchase their products because of the negative impact they have on our economy. Steve closing down plants in California and and moving them to South Korea and China to save money in labor costs is reason I would never buy an Apple product. Do your homework before you judge me on what I can absolutely afford. I just care about my country and about jobs we lose everyday to greedy corporations outsourcing for executive profit.
