Today, my dad gave me a twenty minute lecture about responsibility and how lazy he considers me to be. He then yelled at me for not making his bed and getting his clothes off the floor. FML

Not really... I understand having chores, but if you're cleaning your parents room, that most likely means you're cleaning the whole house. That should NEVER be a regular chore. Should they help by doing certain stuff, like dusting the living room, or vacuuming after the parents have picked up their mess and the kids have picked up their mess? Yes, absolutely. But just as much as parents shouldn't have to pick up their kids stuff after about 5-6, kids shouldn't have to pick up after their parents.

That sucks OP, you may be lazy, but for him to tell you to fix his bed and shit is lazy on his half too. He is playing the old part of " Do as I say, not as I do." My parents gave me and my brother chores around the house, none of them were to be a maid to our parents.
