I know he was kidding. My dad has an amazing sense of humor and I love him very much, but unfortunately for him, the person he was introducing me to doesn't have a sense of humor at all. She now glares at my dad and yells at him whenever he makes any jokes about me. So karma did happen, no revenge needed.

It's actually cute, if you're dad thinks you wouldn't mind such an introduction, it implies you and he get along really well! Atleast that's what he thinks, usually if it's their step daughter or son he would have made a formal introduction showing he's not so close to you

My dad used to tell my friends I was adopted but I would always think of a way to embarrass him later. Those were good times... I think if your dad has a good sense of humor and you guys tease each other your lucky to have him. Don't be so dramatic.

my mom does this to me for the same reason. I'm 25 now and she still does it. to her it never gets old. I'm sorry, but he will probably continue to do it. it's a down fall of being a ginger.
