That sucks, last year when I was 13 my dad was asked my age and said nine, and it wasn't like there was a discount for chidren under ten or something, also the day before my fourteenth birthday he asked "your turning 10 right?". it sucks so much, but honestly I would try to refrain from posting things like this on here becuase of th annoying people on here.

Wow quit bitching. My birthday was just recently on the 18th of November. Yeah, I just turned 13 too. Also, I have never gotten thrown any party on any special occasion of mine, never gotten any presents, my mom lost her job about a year ago, and my dad is in very high debt (not his fault because he uses his credit card for important purposes ONLY, and lost his Full time job which makes it worse.) SO you think your life sucks, well screw you for being a spoiled bitch.

just because someone's problem may not be as bad as yours, doesn't mean that it isn't a big deal to them. do we have to bring this up on EVERY discussion? also, 13 year olds are WAY too young for FMyLife.com

I just have to comment on this. "I completely agree although I'm only 16, which by most is still seen as part of 'the baby teens'. 12-year-olds, please, gtfo." She said she is 13, and I find this comment funny. Your only 3 years older then her, and your telling her to "Gtfo." Its common for 16 year olds to try and act more grownup by putting younger kids down. I couldnt help but laugh at how typical that was. Also, I would have to disagree on the age argument with most people here. A lot of you are saying 13 year olds dont understand this stuff. Well that totally depends on who the kid is. Your probably going to assume they dont if your parents kept you a bit more sheltered, and didnt really teach you about anything when you were that age, to avoid "Award Moments." Ill also guess that if you came from that type of family, they just assumed the school would do it for them. If your parents were parents, then ill take a guess and say you would be more "OK" with 13 year olds using this site. I also just want to say that FMyLife is a PG-13 site. 13. Just saying. Also, she didnt post that as a big "I hate being me" thing. I would assume its mostly just a funny story to share, and it had to be worded in terms to fit the site. If she were not turning 13, and was going to be 24 or something, people would stfu and just laugh about it. But because she is so young, they can call her a bratty little kid. Thats my view. Oh, not that I am telling people to let there kids watch whatever they want or something. But I also looked, and theres nothing really that bad about this site. I dont see how 13 is "WAY to young" to be on here. Really people, look at the post. Aside form language there is just an occasional PG-13 post. There isnt anything really bad on here.

Wow people on here aren't very mature.. Why would you say FML shouldn't allow anyone under fourteen? I'm sure there are twelve and thirteen year old out there more mature than you. I have two little sisters who are 13 and 14, they are definitely mature enough for this. Just because they "haven't experienced" what people talk about on here doesn't mean they don't know what it is, idiots. OP, your life does suck. 13 is an important birthday, I remember I was so excited for mine. Becoming a teenager is an exciting milestone :) To all rude, ignorant assholes who think they are better because they are older... Go do some "cool, grown up stuff." By the way, I'm twenty.
