Today, my Dad sat me down and told me that I was adopted. I was unbelievably shocked by this revelation and asked him why he'd never told me this before. His response was, "I didn't know!" FML

Today, I found out that I was not adopted and in fact my parents are my biological parents. How did I find out? Over dinner. How long have I been believing I was adopted? 22 years. Why did I start believing I was adopted? My siblings thought it would be a funny joke. My mom played along. FML

Today, my mom dropped me off at a friend's house. Upon leaving, my friend's mom said how much I looked like my mother. My mother then replied, "That's funny, she was adopted." This was the first I'd heard of this. FML

Today, a guy in my class was talking about himself. He started his story with, "When I was little, I was a ginger." I replied without thinking, "Is that why you got put up for adoption?" Him being adopted was the actual story he wanted to tell. FML

Nice, how could your dad possibly have missed the fact that his wife was in fact not pregnant and did not give birth, but instead went through an adoption process to get a kid who possibly looked nothing like either parent? Either he has an IQ of about 60 or the OP is an adopted child from an earlier marriage.

Same thing happened to mu uncle. His nw wife wnted him ti marry her so shs said she was pregnant nd she wasnt. He left to fight in Desert Storm nd she adopted a boy nd forged my uncles name. My uncle didnt find out 'til YEARS later.
