Today, I found my concert tickets that I've been trying to find for the last 2 weeks in my mom's closet. When I asked why she had them, she said she felt the concert was inappropriate for me so she hid them. I'm 20. FML

Today, my boyfriend bought me Kings of Leon tickets for my birthday. Since he thought I was irresponsible, he gave the tickets to his mum so I wouldn't lose them. The show is today, and we can't find the tickets. FML

Today, my son surprised me on my birthday with tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. I was excited, especially since I planned to buy them but couldn't due to the fact it was too expensive. I was ecstatic, until I found out he'd stolen my credit card to buy them. FML

Today, I was telling my co-workers about how I'd gotten tickets to a concert in a few days. My boss overheard. Later, he told me I now have to work on the night of the concert. However, he was kind enough to offer to buy the tickets off me for half of what I'd paid for them. FML

Today, I spent hundreds of pounds buying my best friend concert tickets to see our favourite band, complete with a meet and greet. I drove over very excited to pick her up to take her. She had already left. With her boyfriend. FML

are you all stupid? she never said she was entitled. most parents would be nice enough to give their kids tickets to a concert they didn't even have pay for.. you all would be disappointed too. you all like to assume so you all can fight about it. who cares? get a life people. and yes I realize I didn't capitalize. I'm on my iPod and I really don't care in the least bit.

It's not whether they paid for them or not, the point is if your parents need money more than they need to send you to a concert, they're better off selling said tickets. If they give them away, sure it's not a tangible loss, but it is a missed opportunity. Could the Dad be an inconsiderate asshole? Sure. But I find it more likely A) OP asked for tickets. B) It was explained they need what the tickets are worth more C) OP didn't comprehend. Is she entitled to be disappointed? Sure. But she's not out anything either, so explaining how her life is ****** would have been a stronger argument.
