Today, my daughter said "I love you mom", to me for the first time I can remember. She is 16 years old. She said it because I bought her first thong. FML

Dont you think that every 15+ years Old girls or boys always do that .. Never say i love you Without a reason..... But your daughter is a bit tooo over like when you said: The first time i remember. Which means that your daughter Didnt say i love you for a long time... Which sucks . FYL and **** HER. Sometimes kids and teenagers remember their mothers and fathers and all what they've done to them...Good stuff And thank them for everything .. But your daughter ..well ...No

#8, I really am interested to hear what "laungire" is? Also, I refuse to accept the "peer pressure" motive. The girl is 16, unless she's a ***** then there shouldnt be an awful lot of people needing to see her in her underwear. Plus, when I was younger the only girls that were overly bothered about wearing thongs were the fat slutty girls who used to have them hanging out their jeans. Not the best look ever.

#8, sorry your mom's parenting skills were so crappy that she let you manipulate her into buying L-I-N-G-E-R-I-E.

Lingerie is for sexy times, a thong can be used for clothing when you don't want to much panty lines

Maybe you never told her that you loved her. And I bet it isn't the first time, I mean come on, she NEVER said it when she was like 5?

laungire. impressive. anyway, at least you got an "i love you", that's a positive thing. :P

#4 How can you claim the parent is not responsible for how their child turns out? Who the hell else is responsible? Societal pressures etc is obviously also a factor, but how the parents raise a child still has the strongest bearing on what kind of person they turn out to be. And I firmly believe that if you raise a child well, they will be less susceptible to peer pressure and other such nonsense.

If you've ever heard of the Bouchard-Lykken study, or the countless replicas, pretty much it's been proven the main determinant of how someone turns out is genetics and not society or upbringing by a large margin. Parents have some control over this, but there are recessive genes, and some alleles mesh up weird so kids can get their genes from their parents and still turn out waaay different.

#4 The people who clicked you deserved it, are usually people that accidentally double click on your life is f***ed, and it ends up hitting deserved it as well.
