Today, I was at a restaurant with my kids. I told my 13 year old about how the very first time she said she loved me. She was 2 and it was at this very restaurant. I told her the details and even started tearing up a little. She didn't even look up from her cell phone and said, "That's fab, ma." FML

Um... I don't think there's anything wrong with a 16 year old wearing a thong. But then again, I'm also 19, typically call them buttfloss and refuse to wear them because I find them uncomfortable. ...and my boyfriend prefers boy shorts anyways... ;)

A lot of teenagers won't say "I love you" to parents often, it's not strange. She could've been almost joking about it (not the love but the seriousness of the statement). And thongs on sixteen year olds is hardly a big deal, nor is it remotely rare. I wore them at sixteen so I wouldn't have pantylines under my skirts... basic function. :
