Today, my mom was "that" customer at the local drive-thru. She slipped into attention whore mode and bitched the guy out for not giving us extra fries. He said she didn't ask for any, which was true. Instead of apologizing, she swore at him and floored the gas, sending our drinks spilling all over me. FML

Today, I went to my favorite restaurant with my mother. The food took a little longer than usual to arrive and my mom threw a fit, complete with kicking and screaming, in the middle of the restaurant. My mom and I are both banned for life. FML

Today, I went to eat with my girlfriend, her parents and my mother. My mother complained about every aspect of the service. When I told her she needed to assert herself, she took her pocketbook and hit me over the head. The whole restaurant stared at us while she yelled "Is that assertive enough?" FML

I'm going to have to agree with 37 on this. I work in a restaurant - name will not be mentioned - and it's irritating when people take FOREVER to order just because they don't like a certain thing on their food. You could always PICK the stuff that you DONT want. it's not that hard.

And it's not that hard to take a few extra seconds writing down what they do or do not want. Why should they have you put onions in their food if they're just going to pick it out? Really, it's a waste of onion. And they're supplying your tip, show some respect.

so we're forced to eat what you put on it? what if they don't like anything else on the menu besides that one burger. and that one burger just so happens to have something they're allergic to. so you would rather lose a customer than taking 30 seconds out of your time to get them what they want? you should be fired from said resteraunt..
