He's your coach, he's suppose to be tough on you. If you don't like it, run faster. I know I'll get a ton of thumbs down, but still. I only speak the truth.
Excuse me, not everyone is great at sports. You can't simply "run faster".
Honestly, it's high school, not boot camp. While I agree that "it's high school" isn't a reason to not try at all, if you're doing your best, especially in something as arbitrary as gym class where not everyone's going to be awesome, sometimes 'run faster' or 'jump higher' or 'throw the shotput farther' just isn't feasible.
You've been running for a while, haven't even gone a mile...
I'm a D1 track athlete and my time for the mile would be sorry. Running miles isn't always everyone's strong suit. I'm sure you're good at other things.
I so rarely actually laugh at these. But this one cracked me up. I so hope I one day have the chance to do this!
