Today, my ex, for whom I still have feelings, introduced me to his new girlfriend. To make things "less awkward," he invited a mutual friend of ours. However, the last time I'd seen this friend, it was a week after my ex and I had broke up, and we hooked up. Awkward doesn't cover it. FML

That sucks OP. The fact that he tried to make it less awkward for you, is sweet though, it sounds like you're both trying to treat each other with respect and want to stay involved in each other's life, which is nice. Good luck on getting over the awkwardness.

Well since you hooked up with that mutual friend of your and your ex ONLY a week after you broke up I'm going to say you never really loved your ex it was only an infatuation you felt towards him...

You know this kinda makes sense. I was once infatuated with a girl for the longest time even though I never really knew her. I sometimes think we fall in love with the idea of who someone is and not the real person.
