That sounds more like anxiety. Try to be patient and work with her 'sense'--her brain may just be making her randomly terrified of things. It happened to me; for me it was trauma-based, but some people are just born with bad brain chemistry. Ask her if she wants to talk to a doctor, and try to be honest and not surprise her.
