Today, my family and I went over to our new neighbors' house, to sing a carol and say hello. The only response we got was a door slammed in our faces. FML

Maybe they don't like morons coming to their door and screeching on in an attempt to sing Christmas songs that are barely withstandable done well and only at Christmas time Or maybe they don't have any figgy pudding and don't want to listen to people blabbering on about how they won't leave until they get some

This really gets me. If there was a Jewish tradition that involved going to other people's houses and singing I would be respectful of it and would probably enjoy it! I suspect it's less likely that they are Jewish, and more likely has to do with people being douchey. Celebrate Christmas or not - we can all show a little love at this (and every) time of year.

It doesn't have to do with love it has to do with carolers! They're ******* annoying and should be treated like Jehovah's witnesses and either set on fire (not a real suggestion, no one do this, I will not take the blame or the medical/funeral bills if you do), pelted with oranges, met with trolling statements, or else introduced abruptly to your door

33, annoying as hell or not, they don't need to be treated like shit. It doesn't kill you to stand there, listen, smile, and wait for them to leave. Carolers are coming to your door wasting their own time to try to put a smile on your face. Have a little respect or self control. Just because you find someone annoying doesn't mean you need to be an ass.

Not in my experience, then again I'm usually the annoying one.... Still, that makes me pretty dang qualified for the statement & 84, I Did warn against the Actual act, you would know if you read on. I was actually going to get ride of the statement but then I found that more funny

33 - Wow someone's an angry person. Lol. They were only trying to be nice. The people could of at least said no thank you and gently closed the door. And as for your suggestion I don't think they deserved to be set on fire for trying to spread Christmas spirit. Wow!
