It happens. Most people spell my name wrong (Melissa, Maritza, Marrisa, Marrissa...) It's Marissa. People forget. They aren't perfect. To me, this is not an FML.

My dad had to check on my daughters name , he couldn't remember if it had one n or two. I wouldn't be too upset except it was about one month after she died. She was 7 and we lived with him at the time.

My dad adds t my nane .. It's Carol so he like to add an extra 'r' or 'l' sometimes both !! It happens get over it

Pfft my dad always spells my name wrong and in lots of different ways too, it's Maddison or Maddie he spells it Maddi, Maddy, Madi, Mady and Madison. Don't feel too bad.
