Today, my father sent me a letter in the mail. He spelled my first name wrong on the front of the envelope. I'm turning 28 years old and my own father doesn't know that my name has two "t"s in it. FML

not really an fml..i mean as parents get older they forget things... shoot my momma cant tell me (im a female) and my brother apart on the phone, and not only does she forget our birthdays, she forgets hers as well as we get older, small mistakes like that should not bother us like farreal

Its ok, my dad hasn't a clue how to spell my name at all, and it is not just an extra letter, it's the whole name. He only knows how to spell my middle name because it was his mothers. And he is constantly off on my age too. But that is just my dad. He just doesn't pay attention to those things or doesn't really care, learned to not be offended by it a long time ago.

Don't be stressing, my mom, for the first 16 years of my brothers life spelled his name wrong, an that's just a mistake
