OP here. Yes, he was assuming I wanted him to move out of our shared apartment. In good news, we worked it out. It's been a rough few months and we've been under a lot of work stress, and it hasn't helped our relationship. But - still in it for the long haul! And you don't need to hate on the staff, they're just trying their best. We all are, right?

My understanding is that they are living together. Otherwise it wouldn't really be an FML. And since it says move out instead of move in, it implies that he's moving out from her. The FML staff however, not sure if you meant that way (probably not) but responses came across as rude and like you were laughing at anyone who didn't get it. Also, you are interpreting it the way you see it. We won't know for sure unless OP posts.
