Today, my fiancé nervously sat me down for a "serious chat". The chat wound up with him asking if we could postpone our wedding, because his World of Warcraft guild had a raid scheduled for the same day. FML

as far as I know, there is NOTHING in wow worth postponing a wedding for. Even if it was a world first deathwing. Yes, I'm a nerd Life>wow

Why would someone do that..? There is a time for fun and games and a time for life..

You seem surprised. Figured you would know your fiancee well enough to expect this by now.

I can't imagine him expecting you to change your wedding date over a guild raid. That's terrible. You can't just be like "ok." Everything from the church, reception, catering, wedding cake , possible airline tickets are booked for that specific day. Plus wedding invitations already been sent out and people coming in. He is an enormous turd for wanting you to re schedule ALL that (which by then is impossible) just for a game.

If one raid on WoW is more important than your wedding day you probably don't deserve to be married. I used to play WoW and I would prefer telling my guild "Hey, I can't raid today because I'm getting married." Glad I stopped playing...

If my fiancé asked that of me, I would completely understand. xD Imma Horde girl :3

So him trading sex for WoW wasn't good enough of a clue? :C

sounds like someone needs to step away from his computer for a while

I knew a guy who was that obsessed with wow before and it never got better. Leave now! Most wow players (self included) would realize wedding, real life, baby, spouse, etc > virtual game.
