ouch.. good luck in school and maybe u will be the next mcsteamy.. in real life lol
Well, the rule is you don't marry who you date in med school anyway. You dump them for someone hotter. Problem solved.
I love how people are trying to justify her decision by saying that he's in school so he's not making money yet. Or pointing out that she shouldn't have done that because he'll be rich later... Um, am I the only one that thinks money shouldn't matter when finding the person you want to spend your life with?! If you want to be in a good financial situation and be able to buy nice stuff, heres an idea.... WORK FOR IT YOURSELF! Gold diggers make me sick!
"The only reason that could make sense is because he has a relatively stable income right now that should just increase if he runs it well." He runs a ******* kiosk; it's not as if he owns a chain of electronics stores. "Um, am I the only one that thinks money shouldn't matter when finding the person you want to spend your life with?!" It shouldn't matter, but it does; you don't want to spend your life with someone you'll always be arguing about money with. Regardless, I've stated more than once that the girl's an idiot in this case and that the OP is better off without her.
She was either giving you some bullshit excuse to hide the real reason, or she figured you'd be in debt for the next 6 years and could possibly fail out.
I'm waiting to see the FML of "Today, I was dating a guy who was in med-school, but then left for Captain Kiosk, who was then fired. FML" I'm a physical therapy student, I feel the burn. Just hang in there, once you get out you'll be in a fine position to play the field.
Are you paying a crapload of loans? Med schools are expensive. Maybe she felt like all your money was going to go into your education. Or she didn't have faith that you'd graduate. Either way, I'm sorry that happened, but you'll find someone worthy.
#110....you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. There's a difference between a pre-med and a med student. Pre-meds are still in college, and med students are in medical school. Once you get into medical school, well over 95% of students that start out in their first year will graduate and become physicians. Pre-meds are generally the ones that drop medicine/drop out/et cetera. There are many reasons for this, but I don't have time to go into this. I have an anatomy lab to be at in twenty minutes.

Don't worry about her... You'll find a less stupid girl easily...
I'm sure you'll find someone intelligent.
