Today, my four-year-old daughter called me by her mom's new boyfriend's name. Three different times. FML

At four years old, they're bound to repeat everything they hear. Especially names being loudly screamed from behind Mommy's bedroom door.

That doesn't make any sense. Your her mom but then you said her mom's boyfriends name?

#102 Nowhere does it say that its her mom, it even says its posted by a man, read it properly OP that sucks but she is only a child, she's confused, bless her

Maybe you need to feed her some almonds I heard they help you with your memory

Just make sure the "new guy" isn't spending alone time with her. Pedophiles target single women with children.

Well I guess we know who she likes better.

What happens in Canada (referring to his location), stays in Canada. Well, until it gets on FML.

Atleast you know she doesn't call him daddy.

Don't sweat it. Like others have said, she's probably just confused. My 4 year old niece sometimes calls me "mommy" when she spends the weekend with me. That can happen when transitioning from care-taker to care-taker.

Give her a break. This is confusing and unnatural for her to go through.
