My friend is engaged to a really lovely girl. She has a set of twins from her first marriage (he died) and wants to continue the theme. The names are not bad, Aurora and Phillip, but they are from Sleeping Beauty. She adores Disney. She is pregnant again and wants to name the child Maleficent. He is trying everything in his power to veto it, but she is determined that this is the name for her child. She won't even settle for another Disney name, like Ariel or Belle. So it is understandable when women have their heart set on something and feel, because they carried the child, they should give them an adorable name. Just explain that they won't be a cute baby forever and will have to deal with mean children who won't understand and will tease them.
