After watching "Ink Master" I know that even great tattoo artists can do a bad tattoos. Hope it can be fixed. It would seem a good policy to have your parlor stand behind all their work. The clients are your walking advertisement after all.
OP, subjective or not, if it made it onto that site, it's probably a bad enough tattoo that anyone would consider it so. You may or may not have been the one to actually tattoo this particular customer, but I feel that this speaks volumes about the quality of service at that parlor. Sometimes, yes, it is the customer's fault (not taking care of it, wiggling while getting it, or cutting the session short), but it could also be caused by the artist's skill level, or lack thereof. If it's your art OP, own up to it. Find a way to get in touch with them and apologize and offer a free touch up, or a cover up at a discounted price. I would think that you would be just as irritated with someone who did a poor job tattooing you, fixing your car, or providing service with poor quality.
Was it their personal opinion or was the quality of your work just that poor?
The site speaks for itself. YDI.
Unless it looks like a kid did it I really wouldn't worry about it honestly. Different people like different tattoos. If the customer was happy with it then you shouldn't feel bad.
That's upsetting. I'd suggest telling him to see his reaction
I he likes it it's all that matters...some tats seem like the worst artwork ever but still they are appreciated by the person that received it
I was sent a link on a worlds worst tattoos group. the image was of my tattoo -.- I really like my tattoos too
Someone's not getting very positive feed back....

Well OP it's a matter of opinion right? If the client was happy that's all that matters.
Maybe it was done right just not the best choice of tattoo by the customer.
