#32: I'm only 16, and I'm doing my dads business when I'm older (I already know all of it, btw) which makes about 200-400K a year, depending on the economy and homeowners. I am going to go in the army a few years right after high school (as we are a very patriotic family), and my dad supports my decision but has given me pointers... and after I get out, I am going to help him with the business, until he retires, which is in about 10-15 years, depending on how he feels. I will make about 50K my first year, and will be up to about 80K my third year, about 100K my fifth year, about 130K my 7th year, and the whole half of the business (aka average of about 150K, once again depending on homeowners) my 9th year! At that point, my dad will entrust me with the business operations, and will be free to retire at will. The reason I hate the infatuation of college is because I just read an article that if you take the average of 40-60K it takes to go through college, and put that into a lifesavings account at interest of 7% and dont touch it... you'll have well over a million when youre in your 50s... college doesn't get you NEAR THAT MUCH in a lifetime! Also, part of the reason our country is currently in a recession is because college's are too expensive per person, and are an endless black hole that we put money into... they are now mooching off of the govt. to stay afloat, which FURTHER HURTS americans! You know it is an indoctrination when the burden of proof stops being on "why should we go to college?" and instead NOW falls on "what reason do we NOT have on going?" The fact is, SOME PEOPLE are not going to do an academic job! Some people are going to go into family businesses, and some select few are simply too unintelligent to go to college. Period. And yes, I understand eating CAN BE AN EATING DISORDER. But STATISTICS SHOW that is only 1-2% of the cases of fat or obese people... the other 98% are, statistically and clearly, simply lazy, piggish, and slothful. Sorry for the harshness, but it's true! :P ======================== And dude, for the FINAL HARSH BLOW you did NOT want to hear: Not only are fat people, obviously, on average lazier and fatter and more unattractive..... they are ALSO (statistically) less intelligent, have a lower IQ, are less educated, and have less work ethic! BEING OVERWEIGHT IS A REFLECTION OF SELF-RESPECT AND WORK ETHIC! IT IS NOT JUST BY ITSELF!

Also, I find your statistics hard to believe on account of the fact you provided no proof. I also looked for these statistics and couldn't find them anywhere. And even if they are true. Statistics mean nothing to the individual person. There are more reasons behind obesity than being lazy. There is also genetics and environmental factors. 1) I won't get sued for discrimination, since A) we hire all hispanics when we're not hispanic, which shows we're non-prejudiced, and B) no fat people try out for construction/home improvement work, anyway! It's not that simple. Diets don't work. And if being overweight is in your genes, it will be almost impossible to get rid of the weight. Stop acting like obesity is so black and white.
