It's only degrading to those who don't have that similar sense of humor. He read her wrong or just didn't care, but she shouldn't judge the future hubby for what his dad did to her. Me, I would find it funny if one of my husband's family members did it to me. Maybe a little shocked at first, but I'm easy going.
