You know what they say; God couldn't be everywhere, so he created mothers. Then, devil thought that he couldn't be everywhere so, he created mother-in-laws. Tell her that you know it's not her talking, but her demons. Then start yelling,"**** you, demons! I hope you choke on a dick and die." Or you could just confront her about her bitchy attitude.

Isn't the fact that most of daughters-in-law will be once mothers-in-law? There are nice and not so nice people, but there should be no generalization of this type. Could it be just remotely possible that future d.i.l. out of her own prejudices toward the standard idea of m.i.l. gave her future one reasons to doubt her qualities? And vice versa. In this particular case we know very little about either woman, so there really could be a monster unleashed, but in most cases where those two can't stand each other, outside of their own horrible relation, both women are decent persons.
