Today, my girlfriend and I finally watched Toy Story 3; I ended up crying when the toys almost die. After the movie, my girlfriend broke up with me because I embarrassed her. FML

Go find that girl obsessed with disney princesses who posted recently, you're a perfectly sappy match!

That was a really emotional movie, and tears do not emasculate a person.

Just tell her your sniffling, teary eyes and runny nose was from the "man cold". She'll forgive you.

**** her.... you're the guy most girls want... you'll find one that'll cry with you.. :)

As someone said crying a little is one thing, but if the OP was outright bawling yeah that would be embarrassing. There is a difference between showing emotion and going overboard. A lot of this really depends on OP's reaction.

Show it anyway

How does OP deserve it? He can't really control what he finds upsetting.

there is no such thing as being too manly to cry, it takes guts to open up and cry in front of someone too.

#19, you are definitely losing the war here, you might as well pack it up brother. I'd say don't worry you can weep for your loss but we all know you wouldn't anyways!

Wow. Breaking up seems extreme but I can relate. Not everyone responds to a movie the same way. I remember watching "A Walk to Remember" with my BF and will admit I freaked out at the way he bawled and turned into a pile of mush while I only shed a tear or two. It was then that I learnt and understood his estranged relationship with his father while I was only able to relate to the main characters.

I was hoping that was how the movie and series would end, instead they're thrust back into the cycle of slowly losing friends

I was gonna say, I thought girls like when guys are sensitive.

#31, I don't know why you say that. I grew up with Toy Story, and I love it. And, #55, unlike a lot of people I don't give up my views just because people disagree with it. Its not worth trying to peer pressure me into changing, so you might as well stop.
