They'd still be superficial if they started liking him after he got clear skin. Unless he becomes more confident in himself and thus becomes more attractive. hmm No one really knows. It's like doctors trying to figure out of acne medications make people depressed or were people already depressed in their life because of their acne.

Sorry, but it sounds like she was just looking for an excuse, tbh. And maybe check with your derm for proper meds if your skin is actually bad, because it sounds like you've bought ProActiv which is the biggest scam ever :-( Speaking from experience. Benzoyl peroxide from the drug store is essentially the same thing and a hell of a lot cheaper.
