Today, my girlfriend received a scam email about her great uncle dying and leaving her money. She not only believed it, but she also used my credit card details for it. FML

I know a Nigerian detective who can recover all your money. Send me your bank account number and routing number, and he will put the money right back into your account. YWIA.

Not to be mean, but make her pay for it. That was really stupid. She shouldn't have done that without your consent anyway.

make it an false charge then you'll be good...she'll have fraud on her criminal record though...or put the payment on her...you'll find a way out...

It's definitely time for a new girlfriend.

Its terrible that we live in a society where you get identity theft from your own gf.

She first needs to ask herself "why do they need my credit card?" and when the pieces dont fit she can move on. Good lord im sorry OP

If she's dense enough to use a credit card, make sure it's her own, not yours. This either proves one or two things about her: 1. She's an idiot. Or 2. She PURPOSELY used yours because she didn't trust it. Either way, break it off with her.

lesson learned: never give your girlfriend access to your credit card.
