Today, my girlfriend told her parents that she's pregnant. We have never even come close to having sex, but she told them I'm the father. Not only is my girlfriend cheating on me, but her father now wants me dead. FML

If her parents are that irrational and won't listen, then write a small letter explaining that their daughter likes to get around but not with you. Dump her, and YOU CAN GO YOUR OWN WAAAAAY! GO YOUR OWN WAY! You can call it another lonely day. Any girl that does this sort of thing is not the kind you should be dating. Besides, it's not like she'll be lonely, she's got her side dude to go to.

I agree. Just sit the dad down and tell him that it can't possibly be your baby since you two haven't had sex. Then tell him you are heartbroken to find out that she has cheated on you and unfortunately now have to break up with her. Explain that you're hurt by all of this but that you wish her and her family the best. If he in any way doesn't believe you or starts to get upset, just calmly say "I know it's 100% not possible, but if you really don't believe me I have no problem taking a DNA test if you're willing to pay for it." Chances are he will have no issues with this and will be upset with his daughter's actions and sad to see you go.

He would need the paternity test if the girl's parents go after him for child support. Since the parents believe their daughter and not him, he's going to be screwed if he doesn't prove to them (or in court, etc.) that the kid isn't his.

because the mother is allowed to ask for DNA tests too and could take him to court too. she may be cheating but she probably is trying to rope in the one that will help her mor with the baby if he was stupid enough not to ask for a test
