She shouldnt have told you that. Now just between you and me, I did the same thing and ended up marrying the look alike and I am sure I got the better one. The two boys looked so much alike, they told me they were brothers. I liked the other guy, his hair was blonder and he was taller. but I figured out quick he was blonder and dumber. So I dated the more eager "brother". Later I heard that blondie broke up with his girlfriend becuase he wished she was more like me. After that I never wished that I had dated Blondie ever again. 11 yrs of marriage and my look-a-like will never know. but I know I dodged a trip through heart break and disallusion. - you just never know how forever will start.
