Update: The point of thr FML was not to complain about giving my room for my grandma, but it was to complain about: A) Her reasoning for not taking the guest room. B) The cat.

Hence the FML #56...
A cat is fine too.
Boot that old pussy..
Your parents are probably agreeing to it because it keeps the cat in one room. It is just a week, try to enjoy your grandmother while she's still here. :)
You say it like that makes it better. There is absolutely NO reason that the cat needs an entire room to itself. It literally makes NO ******* sense.
Maybe they don't like cats and would not like it roaming the house and getting cat dander and whatever else all over the place. it makes plenty of sense.
give your parents the hotel bill and watch this not happen a gain.. or you can always be the small spoon in your bed
Where do they expect OP to sleep then? Cats are vicious man.. It'd try to kill him in his sleep
I'm sorry, but I would tell your grandma and parents that's not going to happen.
Screw the cat, you should just sleep in the guest room!
Dream catchers don't need to be in front of windows. That's a really crappy reason for her to not sleep in the guest room.
Always your room is open for taking
