Today, my grandmother is coming over to my family's house to stay for about a week or so. Apparently, the guest room window isn't big enough for her dream catcher, so she wants her cat to sleep in the guest room and she wants to sleep in my room. My parents support this. FML
I agree, your life sucks 45 510
You deserved it 3 867

themonesterman tells us more.

Update: The point of thr FML was not to complain about giving my room for my grandma, but it was to complain about: A) Her reasoning for not taking the guest room. B) The cat.

Speaking as someone who has just been meowed at for the better part of an hour because kitty was bored while I was getting ready for school: **** the stupid cat, take the bed. (don't literally **** the cat though)

Just put the cat out after she goes to sleep.

Why can't your grandma have the cat in the same room with her? The cat doesn't need an entire room to itself!

Kingdomgirl94 your comment make me laugh more than the FML. Thank you.

I understand that is what makes the FML #58, I'm just curious as to why the grandmother thinks the cat needs an entire room to itself.

Wouldn't the room be big enough for you AND the cat?

Am I the only one wondering just how big the dream catcher is?

@31 No, literally **** the cat.

Your parents are probably agreeing to it because it keeps the cat in one room. It is just a week, try to enjoy your grandmother while she's still here. :)

You say it like that makes it better. There is absolutely NO reason that the cat needs an entire room to itself. It literally makes NO ******* sense.

Maybe they don't like cats and would not like it roaming the house and getting cat dander and whatever else all over the place. it makes plenty of sense.

give your parents the hotel bill and watch this not happen a gain.. or you can always be the small spoon in your bed

Where do they expect OP to sleep then? Cats are vicious man.. It'd try to kill him in his sleep

All my cat wants to do is cuddle and give me love.

I'm sorry, but I would tell your grandma and parents that's not going to happen.

Screw the cat, you should just sleep in the guest room!

Tell your parents how you feel. that's unreasonable

Dream catchers don't need to be in front of windows. That's a really crappy reason for her to not sleep in the guest room.
