Today, my grandmother is coming over to my family's house to stay for about a week or so. Apparently, the guest room window isn't big enough for her dream catcher, so she wants her cat to sleep in the guest room and she wants to sleep in my room. My parents support this. FML

themonesterman tells us more.

Update: The point of thr FML was not to complain about giving my room for my grandma, but it was to complain about: A) Her reasoning for not taking the guest room. B) The cat.

Speaking as someone who has just been meowed at for the better part of an hour because kitty was bored while I was getting ready for school: **** the stupid cat, take the bed. (don't literally **** the cat though)

I still don't get why the cat would need an entire room to itself

My friend had this happen & her gram stayed for a month due to physical therapy..she was supposed to take 1 teaspoon of laxative for some reason, but she drank the whole bottle. Needless to say, the house was dirty EVERYWHERE

Kill the cat and go sleeping in the guest room.

If the window isn't big enough for the dreamcatcher surely that doesn't matter as it covers the whole thing? Either way, damn hippies.

Sleep in the room with the damn cat. Geeze

Well I think that your grandmother is a bit over the top...ok a lot but I support your parents in this. Your grandparents are old. They are kind of like royalty in your small orbit. It's tough to see now but later on you'll understand. Good luck.

Put the cat in your parents room and put lonely ol' gramdma in the guest room and put the dream catcher in the door way

well ... yes Its your GRANDMOTHER, of COURSE she should get your bed. You complain because .................................. oh, wait. you think you are ENTITLED to be comfortable.. got it. Carry on.

I can't believe it! She's going to let her cat have bad dreams!

Quit your whining. She's just going to stay for a week, so do what you must in order to make her happy. Go sleep with the cat in the guest bedroom and spend time with your grandma.
