Sorry for your loss... Shout out to a fellow Maryland resident!!!
Your dad is very ungrateful. His dad looked after him for so many years.....it seems some people forget just how much our mum and dads have done for us
Seriously? how can one be that inhumane..
What about your grandpa's will? Wouldn't your dad inherit something he can sell, at the very least, if not money?
Maybe you should write everything down, and make a movie about it.
How much money are we talking?
FYL for OP either way, but we don't know 1) what kind of relationship dad and grandpa had, 2) how much money we're talking about, or 3) whether it's his own father or his father-in-law (or ex-father-in-law if OP's parents are divorced). On the surface it sounds awful, but there are plenty of situations where this could be completely reasonable.
What deal he had with him, died with him.
I'm so sorry for your loss
Sorry, but your dad is a dick, a real mental dick.

Your Dad sounds like a real stand up guy.
I don't know your dad, but maybe that's him hiding pain? I'm sorry for your loss, though.
