besides the fact its kid food its junk food that isn't a good health choice op you should reconsider your shopping list
Agreed! That is a terrible health choice. It's ok to eat those foods once in awhile, but at least mix in some fruits/veggies and lean protein!
#29 didn't say that the OP couldn't eat that junk food, but that she SHOULDN'T.
I'm not saying op shouldn't. I'm saying it'd be wise for their health not to eat it so much. is it yummy? yes. is it cheap? depends. is it expensive when you eat enough to cause health problems down the road? yes. so if youre concerned with ops wallet eating enough crap to get sick is more costly than the occasionally healthy option
So? I buy spaghetti o's and chef boyardee stuff all the time with my boyfriend. Better than most of my mom's cooking :P if you like it and can afford it, who cares? Food is food!
Yeah! F*** long term health problems! If you live by those standards (food is food eat whatever you want), you better buy a Rascal and get used to not walking much.
Umm, okay? I'm a college kid and between homework and stuff at home, I don't necessarily have the time to cook. My mom makes healthy food, but it's horrible. MY personal choices are none of your business. Not to mention right about now, no, I really don't care about the effects of it. I've been underweight all of my life and I just got to a weight of 110 recently. Reasonable for my 5'4' height. Once I actually have time to focus on my health and not worry about what assignment is due what day, then I'll focus on it. K? K.
Lol I'm a college student too. And miraculousy I still find time to eat healthy. That whole "I don't have time" excuse holds no weight because between work and full-time school I have plenty of time each day. Also, don't know why weight is important but I'm tipping the scales at 138...and it literally affects none of my decisions.
The food you eat is probably better than what my mom makes. I don't mind some of it, but eating spaghetti sauce that tastes like she just got a bunch of tomatoes, smashed them and used it isn't very wonderful. It's sour and gross. This isn't the only food I eat, but it's a lot more convenient than taking out time needed to study for a test. It's not that I'm necessarily getting defensive about what I eat, but rather a personal attack on me. My life, my choices. Who are you to bash me when you don't know me or my life? I know I'm putting it out there because I'm commenting about my life on a public forum, but it's still annoying.
I'm saying it because your first comment sounds like it doesn't matter what you eat, whether its healthy or not, just because you like it. If you take that as a personal attack, that's your problem. I'm saying to everyone who does eat like that, find a way to fix it, fast, because it will only hurt you.
If you want OP I can send you some quick and easy recipes if you are really unhappy with how you eat
Thank goodness you don't have kids, or you'd probably be feeding them that crap too.
...and diabetes!

Blasphemy! You forgot the cocoa-puffs.
What the hell is wrong with you? You consider THAT food? How could you possibly live on that crap? You clearly forgot the Oreos and beer.
