Today, my hamster died. It climbed out of its cage and jumped off my dresser. Looking for condolences, I told my mom who replied, "If I lived in your room, I would have done it earlier." FML

Today, my mom wanted to surprise me by buying me a hamster. When I got into her car, I was actually surprised and even said, "Hi" to the hamster. When we got home, the hamster was dead. FML

that sucks that your hamster kinda suicided. Maybe place the hamster container thingy closer to the ground next time?

I seriously wouldn't be surprised if hits the top FYL list. The fact a hamster broke out of its cage, climbed to the top edge of your dresser, and then willingly jumped off to kill itself.....I've never heard of anything remotely like that in my life. FYL OP, I hope you move on quickly.
