Dude, that's her fault. And yours. There's a good solution this, tell your parents your teacher dropped and broke your phone after taking it from you for texting. Have your parents call your teacher and ask if she will pay for half of it, then tell your parents you will work for the money to pay for the other half. If I was your teacher I would have offered to pay for half in the first place. Hope it helps :)
She had the right to confiscate it NOT break it. MAKE HER PAY TO GET IT FIXED!
YDI for using your phone during school, when you should be learning.
good
Students and their rights... such a litigious society. Discuss the matter with the teacher. All you need to do is repair the screen. Go halves since you both are fault!
That's what you get for buying an iPhone
Shouldn't have been playing with it during class.
I think she's obligated to pay for it
Learning first. Your OMG and LOL can wait.

Make sure she pays for that
You probably could make her pay for it. Sure you weren't supposed to be using it in class, but that deserved confiscating, not BREAKING. (Also don't they have cases and stuff that you can get so that kind of shit doesn't happen? Otter box or something?)
