Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

i dont get the "i name one kid, you name the other" mentality. why dont you just work together to find a name you both like?

"Make-believe cartoon character"?! Whoa whoa whoa, you've gone too far, there. Besides, it's a totally cool name, you must admit.

13 I'll take your advise. my first born is Leonitous.

First of all, Kratos isn't a bad name, it's quite cool, and second, Kratos means 'Strength' in Greek, so it's not bad at all (people always get tattos with foreign words such as "Strength" or "Respect" in Japanese, it's nothing offending to name your child something great in another language).

Kratos is a greek demi-god, he lived in sparta and became a general in the spartan army before learning his true father was Ares, greek god of war, who killed Kratos' friends and family for rejecting Ares offer to join him in Olympus

He could have been named "Mars" The roman god of war

I love that game!!! omg! I love kratos! he's pretty sexy for a cartoon!!!

Just tell your kid he's named after someone that made us all watch an awkward sex scene in a video game. He'll understand :)

The same as naming kids after Bible characters.
