Gym membership. Hit the treadmills or better yet, 30mins outside jogging everyday each morning or whenever is best for you. Take action instead of being in denial about your weight and lashing out at your husband.
If you slept in the nude this wouldn't have happened. ydi :P
Well sometimes the actual size varies. My husband is 10 in taller and 75 lbs larger than I am, yet we have this pj pant which fits us both.
Reality check! Y totally DI.
lol, same hap'd to me at xmas. in hindsight, they were a little baggy, but being those soft fuzzy pjs, they shrunk minimally, and fit perfect. its like everyone knows my size except me, lol
And then you apologized.
Let's be realistic, if you can wear a XL, you're not skinny, no matter which brand/country it's from. You definitely owe your husband an apology; he was doing something nice for you. The avg. female American is 12-14. On my fat days, I wear a size 2/S, on my regular days, I still wear a size 2/S. It doesn't change. Your dress size can vary by 1-2 sizes, but there's no way you can go from a Small to a XL. The only people I know who wears XL are guys and grandmothers! It's time to eat smaller portions and exercise; it's not healthy being that big.
Oh get over yourself, no one cares that you're a size 2 and no one asked for your weight loss plan. Also if the only people you know that wear an XL or bigger are guys and grandmothers, you must not get out a lot... or ever. It's 2015, body shaming isn't cool and/or funny anymore (not that it ever was).

It appears you owe your husband an apology.
I guess your husband knows you better than you do
