Today, my husband ruined the laundry once again. He forgot to empty his pants pockets before washing them. Last time he left an ink pen in them. This time it was a strawberry. FML

Why do you assume OP is the one doing the laundry? From the way the FML is worded, it sounds like her husband is the one who did the laundry, so he should have checked the pockets. Plus, since they're his pockets, he should know what he has in them--why on earth would anyone keep a strawberry in their pocket?
