Today, my husband ruined the laundry once again. He forgot to empty his pants pockets before washing them. Last time he left an ink pen in them. This time it was a strawberry. FML

You know... i think this is just a ploy. Man stuffs up chore on purpose so the wife is so fed up that she just does that chore in future. In the mean time, i suggest that all his laundry goes into his own basket so that he only washes his clothes. I suspect that if you do that, there will be no more ruined loads of washing. Though I would carefully check yours each time after that. (an ex of mine did this)

im assuming you've reminded him to check his pockets before tossing them into the laundry so maybe you should check the pockets of your husband's laundry before you put it in if you want to save your load
